Wasp while hunting Ausrailian redback spider

This little wasp hunts and kills one of Australia’s most deadly spiders, the redback, researchers have recently discovered. As shown here, the native Australian wasp stings and paralyses the redback spider before dragging it back to its nest, where it lays eggs inside the paralysed spider. When the eggs hatch, the wasp’s larvae eat the still-alive spider. This is the first record of a wasp preying on redbacks.
